    Cortana has taken its final steps away from being a smartphone assistant.

    What you need to know

    [LIST][*]Support for Cortana on iOS and Android ends today.[*]Reminders, lists, and other features won't work within the apps after today.[*]The end of support for the apps has been known since last summer.[/LIST]
    Today is the last day that you can ask Cortana a question on iOS and Android — or use it at all on a smartphone. The Cortana app is going away entirely on these platforms. Even if you already have the app installed, it won't be supported after today.
