I've been running around the web for months trying to find out if the desktop apps like Windows Media Player, Paint, Live Writer, notepad, wordpad, even sticky notes, etc will see any updates with Windows 10 and so far i can't seem to find anything. Hopefully someone can answer if they are or not?

Funny. as I read your post I am watching the new files for the current windows 10 build come down now and the last two were wordpad and notepad. notepad looks about the same. Wordpad looks a little different to me but I do not have another system in front of me to compare it to.
