MS and others were saying that a consumer preview will be available in early 2015 and asked consumers not to install the Technical Preview.

Is the new TP build the same or is there a consumer preview coming soon?

Can't post links here so please google for the article "Microsoft: Consumers should wait for Windows 10 Consumer Preview out early 2015"

No, as per everything they have said this week and everything on the Windows Insider page, this is another Technical Preview. The Consumer Preview is still months off. When it is released, it will be clearly labeled as such. You should not run this unless you are comfortable running early betas. This is closer to feature complete but is still developmental. It is nowhere near a final product or a preview of that product.

If you have used it, be very glad they don't think this is ready for consumers. It is very broken, both with bugs and with bad (work-in-progress) design.
