New Windows Phone 10 build is part android-What does this mean for regular users?

I recently saw in a thread that the new Windows Phone 10 builds are 1/3 rd Android.Now what does this mean for regular users?

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated..

Yeah,I know that this will make porting of apps from other platforms easier.But apart from that anything else?

It's not 1/3rd or any percentage Android. It has some Android bits, but its more like me wearing a hat from Japan rather than being a quarter Japanese.

Windows, from NT up have always had a Unix compatibility layer that is mostly unused. Someone theorized that this may be being used in part to support Android apps. this would be a long way from 30% of anything and doesn't actually mean any Android stuff is in Windows, simply that a compatibility layers exist. Time will show how Android apps run on WM. And that will then give an accurate picture of how everything is really implemented.
