So what are the implications of designing Win 10x into Windows?

While much of the coverage has focused on the demise of Windows 10x the part that gets mentioned in passing without saying much is that the 10x functionality will be built into mainstream Windows 10. But what does that mean?

Is Windows going to run in containers as a matter of course?

Will Windows have an adaptable shell?

Could this lead to a device that ostensibly runs Windows but can run Android apps or even Apple apps in containers?

While I've seen a ton of coverage on the cancellation of 10x, I really have not seen any real exploration of what this means for Windows other than Sun Valley and what seems to be billed as a user interface refresh.

Anyone have anything to offer on this?
