Unable to upgrade to build 10166 WinX Mobile

I am currently on build 10149 and a fast ring member. I am not able to upgrade, the problem is phone downloads the whole update but when it prepares to install the bar goes all the way upto 100% and the phone update screen quits and I get a resuming screen, then the phone reboots itself and when it boots again my battery goes down from 100% to 31%. When I go again in the update screen I get a error message Problem downloading update inquiring minds may try error 0x80246007.

Also did a hard reset and I dont want to roll back to 8.1. Any help would be appreciated.

Atleast yours is stuck mine reboots after preparing installation and bam error downloading message

It sounds like your only option it to use the Windows Phone Recovery Tool and go back to 8.1 and start over. This will give you a good clean install of a solid build, 10166.

I finally got mine updated, just be patient amd make sure u have a good network, mine was stucked on 8% for like 3hrs I decided not to touch it, just wen I was tired of waiting and decide to restart bam there u go I saw 100%, I couldn't be more relieved. Rocking it now

Nice I probably have to go back to 8.1
