build 10536 error: "Microsoft Edge can't be opened. An app update may be available in the Store"

That is the error I get when clicking on any link such as a tile I had pinned to Start. I cant launch Edge anymore after a hard reset yesterday. It had been working for several hours.

It also does not appear in the app list. I cant find it in the store.

Anyone have recomendations for recovering Edge without going through rollback to 8.1 and then upgrading again?

Verizon Lumia 928. Went from build 10512 to 10536.1004 yesterday morning.
Edge had been working fine in 10512.

I was mistaken when I said hard reset... it was a soft reset.
Later in the day I did a real hard reset, wiping back to fresh 10536.1004 and did not restore from backup...
Phone is running SO much better. No lock screen issue anymore, Edge is working great. And the biggest improvement is the battery life seems much better than the quick drain from before.
