What is the latest Desktop Insider build, and how stable is it?

I'm running W10M on my Lumia 920, but only have the released version of Windows 10 on my PC. I had the insider version on my PC well before it's release, but since the release have stayed with the regular versions.

I'm curious about having both my devices on the latest and greatest, but wonder how stable is the latest PC release? What version is the PC version up to? (Mobile has 10572, but I'm on 10549)
