Battery drain with 1520 on latest build?

Btw, I didn't do a clean restore as that made it worse. No apps would update.

I have done a hard reset. Now the phone is not heating up in standby. But in normal use it again heats up and battery drains pretty quick.

I really liked the latest build on my 1520. But the battery issue lead me back to 8.1.

Messaging/Skype seems to be eating away at my battery again, albeit not as bad...A few percent an hour when idle. The build is amazing, and that is the biggest issue I'm having. But I do miss 8.1's battery life...

Can you turn off background processing in the messaging app and see if that helps the battery drain issue?

well my Lumia 1520 has been great on 10586.11 , the battery in my case has improved, I get all day use and still get 40-45 percent remaining, messaging right as I type this has only used abt %6.7 , lock screen is %1.4 only I keep glance screen active all the time. I am kind of a person who keeps everything running , location, wifi, brightness on auto, all apps allowed for notifications....im pretty amazed and satisfied with the battery life, as compared to older builds. btw mine is RM-937, didn't do a hard reset since 10572.

Am I the only one not having the battery drain issue :/.. Mine is RM-937 1520.1 to be exact.. Maybe that counts.. Which one is yours guys

I have the 1520.3. Sorry for the lag, my device has been nearly flawless since I restored. Battery life isn't as bad!
