My friend just purchased the HTC Arrive yesterday, and was having teh same issues all night. Today, boom, works like a charm. Odd.

Not that i'm aware of, no.

I have a crazy question. Why doesn't the Facebook app have proper PUSH notifications. It can't be due to not have access to APIs, hell it's MS own app, surely they have access to all the APIs needed.

I don't know, either. I tried activating sms notifications from Facebook and those don't work worth a crap, either.

I registered here to share my solution to the fb problem.
I have lumia 710 and i had problem code 83cf3105, and I noticed that fb has problems running when battery saver is on. When I turned saver off, both fb chat and photos loader seem to be working.

Hi I had the same error 83cf3105. and had not activated the option of saving battery.
What I did to fix the problem, was activate the battery, turn it off again and instantly connect and update synchronization with the account.
