Sprint for me is history. (finally) Headed to AT&T

I'm looking at getting the Focus S or the Titan II.

Comments and opinion please.

I would just point out that if you're switching networks, you should consider T-Mo. They've currently got extremely inexpensive plans that put AT&T to shame. That said, you'd be getting either the Radar (which I have and love!) or the Lumia 710.

If T-Mo's coverage is bad in your area or if you're dead set on a larger, higher-end device, then I'd still wait to see what comes out of Mobile World Congress this week. Might be worth your while to wait for a Lumia 900 (or some variant thereof) device on AT&T.

Buuuut, if you really cannot wait (which I also understand), personally I'd go Titan. If the battery is anything like my Radar's, it'll last you comfortably through the day and HTC's newer cameras are quite good. ...that and I prefer HTC's build quality to Samsung's.

My first choice would be the Nokia Lumia 800/900, then the Samsung Focus S.

I've had no problems with my HTC Trophy, but I have read of some recent build quality issues with HTC which would make me hesitant to buy one right now.

I have the Titan I and have had no problems at all. Have good call quality and the phone is fast and powerful. The antennae is not as strong as other phones I have had. I can be in the back of the grocery store next to my wife who has a Samsung Focus S and she will have four bars and I will have one. She can make a call and I cannot. Outside, signal reception is equal.

Yup, I moved my wife to T-Mo first and then I went later. We were both on Sprint and went to T-Mo for just the very reason mtmjr90 said: rock-bottom pricing. We used to pay $120 per month on Sprint, now we pay about $90 per month. That's a savings of $720 over two years. Not bad!

If you are going to AT&T I'd wait till mid march and at least look at the Nokia 900 as well.

Had a titan since Nov. No complaints to date. My wife and 13 year old have the titan as well. I use mine primarily for work, my wife the social networking and of course the 13 year old loves the gaming and zune pass. I have to admit, I am tempted to try out the 900 in March.....

I left sprint for at&t, will NOT look back. I pay within $10 of what I was w/ sprint for 4 phones. I don't have 'unlimited data' but its h+ is faster than WiMAX and Verizon's LTE in my area. 4.5mb down is slow for me now. At&t has spoiled me greatly. Also being able to just pop a sim in another phone while I 'tinker' has made the experience even better.
I don't have the slightest regrets, just the wait for the Nokia 900

I have a little over a year left on my plan and, unless there are surprises about an HTC Arrive II or 8 Pro that's a Sprint exclusive, it looks like I'll be doing the same move. I only hope that AT&T gets a version of the next HTC "Pro" series and that they don't mess with the dedicated number row like they had done with the "Fuze" and "Tilt 2."

Despite it's quarks, I still love my Titan. It feels great in the hand, nice and solid. I haven't held a Lumia 800 before but I'd say the Titan can match any Windows Phone in build quality. Hopefully, HTC will release a firmware update soon to address some of the nagging issues. With that said, I don't think you might be better off with the Lumia 900. Same screen size as the Focus S but (judging by reviews of the 800) has a more premium feel than the Focus S, which feels extremely flimsy IMO. Plus, Nokia is treating WP as their first choice and not their second (I'm looking at you, HTC). Look at the 800 battery/camera updates and you'll see that Nokia is serious about supporting their phones. But be forewarned, AT&T isn't the best company when it comes to actually releasing updates.

Thank you all for the good stories about AT&T. None can be perfect but it has to be better than Sprint's slow motion network. T-Mo isn't that good here in Vegas so I can't use them.

Been with Sprint for over 10 years and would like to stay with them but the Nokia 900 is calling and I just don't see Sprint getting a Nokia phone like ever. I also don't have the patience to wait until the fall to see what sprint does.

Anybody else made the jump from sprint to AT&T lately? What do you think? Looking forward to faster data speeds but concerned with dropped calls. I live in the DC area.

I've been on AT&T for a while, and I can tell you the only time I've ever dropped a call was when using the iPhone or talking to someone who has an iPhone. I've never dropped a call using my Focus or any Android phone.

I frequent a lot of forums and I see a ton of people leaving Sprint for AT&T and the 900 (myself included).

I don't doubt it. I've played with some demo phones from AT&T in and around my city. The speeds are amazing with AT&T. Even at work at the casino.

These are the exact reasons I am planning on switching from verizon when the 900 hits. According to AT&T's coverage maps I would be in a HSPA+ area where as I just have Verizon EV-DO. And I am looking forward to just switching a SIM. It's a pain to have to re-activate a phone every time I want/need to swap phones.
