Windows 8.1 Update 1

Hi guys. Did anyone else lose all their data and had to back-up after this update or was it just me? Could have been my memory card because it was giving me problems before then saying "there is problem with memory card" and then my phone just hangs. Horrible hanging that drained the battery in an instant. The hanging actually caused the phone to reboot in the middle of the 8.1 update 1 update so could that be why lost all my data and apps and had to restore?

I'm basically depressed as i have lost my FF1 and FF3 saved files. I dont think i'll be buying any more games from the store for that much money unless they will be able to cloud save as this incident could happen again.

My model is a 520 btw

I see. Guess it was due to the fact that my phone booted during the update then. Is there a way to prevent losing data of your save games that doesnt support cloud saving? Kinda scared of starting FF3 again
