Always On Screen - Plugged In

My previous phone was an Omnia 2 Winmo 6.5. The power management feature had an option to keep the screen on when the device was plugged in. Is there such a thing for Windows 8 - HTC8x on Verizon?

Sorry if this has been covered before, I'm somewhat new here.

This was an option on WP7, but sadly MS decided to leave it out of WP8.

Yeah gotta say, this is a frustrating aspect of WP8. The way the lock screen dims after literally a second and then turns off, and the music player controls disappear after about two seconds when they come up, gets a bit maddening.

I'd love some choice and control over these timings and the way the screen behaves in the future, including what you're suggesting.

My AT&T version of 8x has this never option. It seems to be carrier related or sometimes differ from ROM to ROM. But the option is definitely there in WP8. No one knows who's to blame for removing the option.

Interesting... This option was present on my HD7, but not on my Ativ S, both on the same carrier, so I presumed they removed it for WP8.
