No options/settings for music+videos?

When I go to the Music+Videos stock app and click the three dots I get nothing except a small button saying suggestions, and no settings at all for my music app. Also artists pictures do not show up as the music player background or on the Live Tile. I've read that this probably might be due to my location (Singapore), and if it is so, is there anyway to circumvent and bypass this problem and get my artist background? Thanks.
