I upgraded my phone today from a Lumia 520 to a HTC 8X.

Unfortunately I am having problems reinstalling any of the apps that I own, error message appears saying "We can't send apps to your phone at the moment. Please try again later."

Anyone know why this would be?

try going to the 'find my phone' section in settings and making sure the push notifications option is ticked. If not, tick it, then restart the phone and download the apps again from your purchase history.

I'd try to delete all the apps from your 520 (manual one by one, or hard reset) and then try to install them again. Reinstaller, that's an app on the Store for reinstalling apps, you should try it out .
