I'd say it's the having to deal with people who don't even bother to pay attention to what they've written...but that's just my assumption.

After all I get a little miffed when someone tells me they haven't done something...when the proof is literally on the same page. That type of behavior takes a certain special type of person, after all.

I think I saw this option in some app. Possibility to sleep the device.

I don't remember an app that allows this feature. I could be mistaken, but I don't know if regular devs have access to that functionality or not.

"Lockscreen" shortcut is at least on shortcut toolbox app. Could be something like this I remembered seeing, not fully "sleep device"

Btw, I personally wouldnt be worried about breaking the power button.
