Voicemail icon problem

I just can't get the voicemail icon to go away. I deleted the voicemail 2 days ago, it's still there. I've rebooted several times. Any help whatsoever?

Call the voice message service again and it should go.

Just tried that too. No good.

I had the exact same problem, the way i sorted it was to ring and leave a new message and made sure when i deleted it i had a full signal and that seemed to cure it.

Are you sure its not just a missed call icon?

It's a cassette tape icon. I assume that's voicemail.
