working fine and nice on my Nokia Lumia 720... Don't know what's really going on with your own

Turn off battery saver if its on. Live tiles don't update if battery saver is on. Another thing that you should know is Live Tiles update every half hour or so.

Actually after doing everything, live tiles are updated JUST ONCE after 30 minutes but then it stops updating consequently.... 3G is working perfectly... Lol

I've had this problem numerous times on my L920 and every time the solution has been to uninstall a few apps that have the option to run a background task, NOT necessarily ones that are running in the 'background tasks' list under settings. So try removing a few apps that are 'blocked' under background tasks.
