I have a friend who just crossed over to Android (after leaving iOS and then trialing WP for a few months) due to a couple of issues. One was Waze being poor (he's a Waze addict and yes, I know Google own Waze so likely no help there), the other app was much more surprising - Fitbit being poor.
He mentioned a couple of items and I wanted to confirm:
1) That the app often took 20-30 seconds to load on his phone
2) That the iPhone app includes a LOT more statistics
Now I have to say my wife has a Fitbit she uses with her L920 and it doesn't take that long to load for sure.
Is it really that slow on 512MB devices?
Also, my wife does also use the website and PC in preference to the app, but I always thought that was just big screen-itus.
Is the app really that lacking compared to the iPhone version?
I know Fitbit are working on the app, but things like a slow startup should be easy to fix given the profiler capability in WP.
Sad to see someone leave the platform over one of the better supported mainstream apps!
