They will give you an unlock code if you pay the ETF (or your contract ends naturally). They also will most likely give you one if you let them know you'll be traveling internationally and need one. Depending on the kindness of the rep you get, they may also just unlock it for you without much fuss, but that's the luck of the draw from what I've read in the past.
