Does hard reset work without problem?

Hi all,

I've had to send my 920 off for repair due to the dodgy headphone jack which would leave me without a phone for up to 2 weeks. So bought a 620 today but the missus is going to have it after.

Question is what is the hard reset like on the 620? I had to flash my 920 after the hard reset got stuck on the cogs, and you have to hard reset to change the Windows ID on the phone (if anyone knows of another way, please do let me know). So, does the hard reset actually work on the 620 or am I going to have to flash this one as well?

I tried a hard reset on my lumia 620 and everything is fine. However, i think you take a risk by hard resetting your phone. Is there any specific reason why you want to hard reset it?
Btw here is the instructions i followed to hard reset my phone. Beware though because you do it on your own responsibility.

As mentioned in the original post, I am using the phone until mine comes back from repair and want to use my Windows ID. It will then need changing to the girlfriends ID and the only way to do that is to reset the phone.
