- Hi eric2013,
I have the freeze/reboot issue on my Lumia800(unlocked). Two swapboard and one exchange but not fixed in a 6mos. period. I still manage to have the refund/reversal on my account after 7 months from purchase. If I cannot wait for the 720. I will go with BBZ10 from Smart.
If the 920-PH variants still have the dust in the FFC issue then no go for me. I am just wondering why our carriers not getting WP8-Lumias..now Globe offering the AtivS based on our corporate plans.
Thanks,03-13-2013 04:32 AMLike 0 - No screen protector. I bought it at Nokia MOA. The service center has technical report and recommend it for replacement. I opt to just return the unit and refund my payment since I worry that this might be a quality issue that although not all units are affected, in time it might show up. The phone is almost useless because the screen always freezes.03-14-2013 09:23 PMLike 0

- This is weird. Lumia 800 was my first WPhone and it rocked! I used it for 8 months without the nagging problem you have described. I bought mine unlock in Nokia store glorietta. Now I'm a happy 620 owner.
Hi Pogi,
Thanks!
I have a bad experience on my previous lumia device, a lumia 800 which keep on freezing and was not resolved even after 3 exchange. I have no other choice but to return it after 7 months with a refund.
So before making a new purchase, I just wan't to make sure that Lumia 920-PH variant is actualy working here in Philippine shores without a problem.
Regards04-15-2013 08:34 AMLike 0 - guys. i was just wandering why will nokia release the new firmware here in the philippines, i heard india got the new firmware update.. got mine too a beautiful black lumia 920...04-18-2013 05:23 PMLike 0

- No update about that yet. But it'll probably come along with the Southeast Asian release of the firmware04-19-2013 06:54 PMLike 0
- I bought Lumia 920 last April 5. Suddenly last Wednesday, April 17, it doesn't switch on! It was just sitting in my pocket the whole time. The last time I used it was running perfect. Then, I borrowed my friend's phone and tried calling my number (the sim inserted inside) and it seems the sim is active. But my phone doesn't ring, vibrate nor show any response to the call I made; nothing! I tried charging it, but still nothing.
I remember one time, it had some kind of problem. I think it was the 5th or 6th day after I bought it; it won't power on. But the three capacitive buttons are blinking. Then after few attempts, it did power up. I can't do anything about it then because I can't show it to Nokia SM Cebu City that I had that problem. Also, the replacement is only valid within 3 days after purchase.
Nokia is diagnosing my phone right now. I just wanted to share my experience with Lumia 920.Last edited by Charlie Hernani; 04-20-2013 at 01:13 AM. Reason: wrong grammar

The lumia 925/928 became available in the U.S. Those models are not available in the philippines yet but I was so psyched up that I would have settled for a 920 ( not much difference with the 925/928 and I am partial to bright phones. ) I went to the nokia store in SM cebu to inquire which particular lumias enable the fm functionality after the gdr2 update and possibly buy one. And I got the worst customer service experience in my life. The rep all but ignored me in the empty nokia store. I actually liked being able to browse all the lumias without a rep looking over my shoulder but later it became apparent that it was not out of politeness but total indifference to a potential customer. After checking out the lumias, I was all set out on getting a 920 no matter the answer to the fm radio question and approached the cashier/rep. She acted put-upon that I approached her and looked at me while I was crossing the floor to her as if I was a chore she had to do and none too happy about it. I asked her about the various lumias particulary which ones had the fm after the june gdr2 update and she told me *Sir , lumias don't have radios* with a smirk on her face implying I was a simpleton. I informed her about the gdr2 update and she called to another rep inside the store who was a little more informed about the update but could not point out which lumias enable fm after the update and that I should just pick out whatever, already dismissing me to attend to something else ... in the empty nokia store. I turned to the previous rep who obviously did not want to answer any questions and she says *Come back again* even though I was obviously not yet done, then looks disbelieving at me when I did not move posthaste out of the store. I couldn't believe the utter disregard, the rudeness, the god awful *&!^# reps working on the store. I made a joking remark that it seems they wanted to get me out of the store upon which the rep just stares to indicate a silent *Yes*. I love nokia, the lumias are just about the best phones I've seen and handled but %$$@#! if I ever step into a nokia store again. No wonder the nokia store was deserted while the samsung, LG, and HTC booths were full of people perusing phones. I'm going to buy my lumia unit from sulit or online.05-17-2013 03:18 AMLike 0 - My Nokia Store experience

They even set up my 620 for me. Regarding the Nokia Stores, it's apparently set up in a franchise system. Also, the Nokia Stores with Nokia Care Centers have better customer service than Nokia kiosks.05-17-2013 03:41 AMLike 0 - My Nokia Store experience

One thing is clear, though. If the Nokia Store (like many others) there is also a Nokia Care Center, that's not a place where I'd send my phone for repair.05-17-2013 03:54 AMLike 0 - Whoa. Never have I seen something that bad in a Nokia Store. Here in Manila, the customer service from Nokia was awesome.

05-17-2013 05:17 AMLike 0 - Too much work for so little return. I don't like to go thru the route where I'll lodge a complaint and the store owner would be put in the awkward situation to defend the rep, make up an excuse, and try to placate me at the same time. Too much drama for me. I'll just wait for the EOS and have my brother in the U.S. ship me one... after a decent time has elapsed and the prices go down to post-hype levels that is.05-17-2013 05:27 AMLike 0
- I do hope that you write a letter to the owner. There are probably many good people that would line up to take that job from that horrible employee.05-17-2013 05:27 AMLike 0

All I could find are Capdase ones and I'm not liking it very much.06-17-2013 05:31 AMLike 0
