Reds look pink!? Photo white balance problem?

I just upgraded from an HTC Titan 1 to a Lumia 920. Really like it so far, but I'm having problems with red tones.

First, the reds in the exact same photos taken with HTC look like a rich red, same as real life, but on the Lumia 920 they look downright PINK!
This persists even when I display both pictures on my PC monitor. Why is it doing this? Is it a white balance bug? It happens even with all flashes off.

Second, the default red theme. Is it my phone rendering red badly, or does the default red theme look much brighter/lighter than the WP7 red theme? I have to set it to the new Crimson to prevent it from looking downright orange.

Thanks for any tips and anything I can do in the settings to improve color accuracy.

EDIT: Checked the cnn.com desktop version site. REDS LOOK ORANGE ON THE LUMIA!! WHY!! How can I fix this?!
