How sensitive is the screen to scratching?

So, curious. Have people had issues with minor scratches happening on their screen? Do you feel a screen protector is needed? How sensitive is the screen to scratching?

I've had my cyan 820 since April and it has fallen numerous times, and even slid across the floor face down a couple time. I even carried my keys in the same pocket quite a few times. With that said the screen looks damn near perfect. I actually figured I would see more pronounced scratches but I can only make out minor scratches in perfect lighting. (although there are a few nicks on the body) Also I haven't had any protection for it so I don't think any is needed. But I can say since the first week there seems to be a smudge under the screen. I'm not sure what it is but I've read another forum about it. Seems to be somewhat common.

I noticed a scratch within a couple of weeks, and have had a screen protector on it since then.

Currently sporting a Zagg InvisiShield.

Had my 820 since Jan... No scratches yet but i do have a screen protector on just in case!!

Every glass CAN scratch, and Gorilla Glas isn't that good. With sharp keys in your pocket, the screen will scratch, no matter what glass you have..
