Re-setting to factory

So I was having an issue with my phone when calling people some could not hear me unless I put the speaker phone on then they could hear me just fine. My phone is still under warranty so it will get replaced but the phone is just sitting here with two gears spinning on the screen since I was instructed to do a system reset. Does anyone know how I can get my phone back until I get my replacement phone? There is nothing else wrong with the phone so needless to say I'm a little upset that I don't have a phone at all now. Any help would be great.

Well it looks like that went away now but I think just because the battery died. I would say it was running for 2 hours. So now the only thing I can get to come up is the charging symbol. Can't get it to do anything else.

Well apparently since it has enough power in the battery the gears are back on again.

Again (severals threads with the same topic):

- soft reset at gears screen (vol down + poser btn until restart)
- At nokia logo press vol up, vol down, power btn, vol down (not at same time)
- wait 5 minutes with the gears screen and it will reboot.

All mine did after resetting was go back the gears. I'll keep trying it but not sure if its going to come out of this.
