Switch off vibrate. I have had this switched off for 2 weeks now and my battery life has gone through the roof. My battery life was good anyway - 12 hours approx.. Now I'm getting 20 hours plus. I don't miss the vibrate as it isn't that strong on the 920 compared to other phones I've had in the past.
Try it.

I have it on and get 20 or so hours and sometimes a bit less, it really depends on how busy in work I am as I will use it less if we're busy

I only have vibrate active on my phone during the night, when I'm sleeping. I don't notice any inordinate draining of the battery as a result.

You know, I'm not impressed with the vibrate on my 928 to begin with. I think I will give this a try.

Defo going give it a try. I wasn't that impressed with the vibrate and usually missed communications with it on anyway. The difference is quite staggering.

vibration was pretty strong before GDR1 or GDR2 (dont' remember which one it was), I think a lot of people complained about the vibration rattle on the 920s so with GDR they really tuned it down. Most of the time I don't hear or feel the vibrate

I found 3g / H+ eats out more battery life as opposed to 4g.. I have left both wi fi and 4g on for weeks and can confirm that. The down side is if you are out and about, the o/s will still try to connect via wi fi... even though auto connect and search are off so you have to manually turn off wi fi, which is not a big deal but can be a pain if your rushing out the office.

It was proven in your mind and on your device, doesn't make a hair of difference on my 810 ( internals of a 920 )

but 920 has a 2000 mAh battery 810 has a 1800 mAh. I get 1 day 15 hours or 1 day 20 hours and the 5 hr difference is

dependent on which battery saver mode I choose.

Glad it works for you tho' since you can't have a back up battery to slip in when needed, that is really dumb.

This works for me big time as well, even though I don't own a 920. Haven't charged my phone since 8 am, and have been using my phone the same consistently day to day (moderate).

This has been consistently working everyday. There's days when I leave the house with 80% and still have battery left when I come home. Other platform users I told about this says it works for them too

The only vibration i switch off is in ringtones, which in turn sorts it for all notifications. The only vibrate i receive is when i cycle power on the phone.
