Awesome!! If memory serves me right, Bell had GDR2 first, so hopefully they are still on the ball here. I am somewhat worried about Bell's support for Windows Phone, but I really don't want to switch to Rogers.

I really, really hope so. I have the Dev Preview, but I want the firmware update which I am hoping will sort the Bluetooth issues I am having. Also, I don't want to go to 8.1 without the firmware either.

I have a Bell Ativ S and I have GDR3 installing now (confirmed the firmware version after it downloaded).

Yes, closing apps by multitasking screen, rotation lock, driving mode and delete temporary files

This is awesome! Was curious if Bell pushed this out as I have the Bell model unlocked to T-mobile, and to a surprise, it's out! Finally feels great to have support once again. Fingers crossed for an 8.1 support announcement as HTC announced support for their 8X series.

Samsung has been supporting this device thus far, so I don't see why they wouldn't release 8.1.

3 columns is not available for the Ativ S.
3 columns can be enabled if your device interop unlocked, there are threads here and on XDA that explain the process
