More tiles on Lumia 925

Problem:- when I agree to have more tiles on my 925 it shrinks the whole start screen to two-thirds of its normal pre-8.1 size. Help, what's gone wrong?

It won't guess what you want in the new column. You have to move or add things to the new empty column.

I was expecting it to arrange the present tiles across the screen. Nowhere does it tell you what to do next.

Yeah, you've got to rearrange your tiles to the newly acquired screen space. I love the added tile space on my 1020!

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was honestly wondering what you were expecting it to do. You shouldn't really assume that someone is being sarcastic.

Yes, you have to reorder the live tiles yourself after you change it.

It's fine I can see how I could have come across as sarcastic in my response. I'm just glad we have it cleared up now and that you know what the feature is doing. How are you liking the 925 with the extra row? I found that it made the tiles too small for my taste.

Still like the extra row - especially with transparent tiles and a good wallpaper beneath it. I have long, slender fingers but can see how a man might find the tiles too small. Confession:- I do have to don reading glasses sometimes!
