    mvno is a mobile virtual network operator. That is a wireless network provider that actually doesn't own any spectrum. Straight Talk is a good example. They provide wireless services, but the wireless network is somebody else's backbone. Straight Talk for example provides wireless services here in the US using Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile.

    So, Rich215 isn't actually signed on to any of the US Carriers directly, he's with one of these providers.

    If you HAVE to get rid of the Verizon physical logo on the front of the phone (if it really bothers you too much), Crack your screen (so you can justify it) and buy a replacement screen from a 930. Same phone, same parts accept for Verizon "stuff" (CDMA, etc). This will give you a clear screen and should be a PERFECT fit on a Verizon ICON.

    Last I looked they were around $175-200 for replacement screen (whole screen), so you could almost buy a 930 for a little more than that...
