I just ordered a lumia 820 off of ebay to upgrade my 520 and I was curious if the 820 can receive Wireless Emergency Alerts from AT&T I really find them helpful can someone with a 820 on AT&T verify this?

Not a problem. I think you will enjoy your 820. While the 520 is a nice little machine you will find the 820 has several things that are a bit nicer than the 520. I have a 520 as my backup so I am used to both phones. In fact I prefer my 820 to my wife's 925, she also has a 520 as her backup. Was hoping they would come out with a update to the 820 so I could update my phone but it does not look like its going to happen. Take care.

Me and my wife's contract runs out in about four months. Going to take a look at moving to non contract Cricket when it does. From what I understand you can use any phone you are now using on AT&T on cricket, just changing to a cricket sim.
