They're also available for generally less than $200 (new/no contract!) now. So the risk is minimal. At the very least, if you don't like it as your daily driver, it will make a fantastic backup device, GPS (Here Drive doesn't need data service, or even a sim card, to work), and Media Player (here music also caches to internal and will not require data). Or just sell it. Probably get what you bought it for.
