An interesting point to note about 4.5" vs 5" - particularly for those like myself who are considering upgrading to the L830 from a L920/925/928 if the device is right.
At 5", the Lumia 830 screen would be just 0.14 inches wider than the 4.5" L920. Just a seventh of an inch. This is due to it being 16:9 as opposed to 15:9 as the 92x is, which it will be if the reports of it being 720p are correct (and as it still would be if it happened to be 1080p - so the same applies for L930.)
So as far as having a bigger screen goes, while you are gaining space vertically, the content (on the start screen at least) would actually appear hardly any larger at all compared to 92x since tiles scale with width. So if you're thinking of going from a 4.5" 15:9 screen to a new 5" and expecting everything to look massive, you might be in for a dissappointment.
Also if you follow this logic through to smaller suggested screen sizes - if the 830 was 4.5" 720p, the screen would actually be slightly narrower than 92x and tiles would be very slightly smaller (4.7" would make the width more or less the same at just 0.01 inches narrower than 92x).
Food for thought.
