1020 screen issues

My phone has been acting up lately with the screen blinking between bright and normal and now it's stuck on bright with washed out colors. Its like a gradient from left to right, if you open the keyboard it's very apparent its like a gradient from white to gray. Looks like the left hand side of the screen is going overdrive and going as bright as it can almost? anyone encountered something like this?

Try a soft reset....

I agree with jeetu4444; a soft reset (or you could even try to just turn your phone off and on) may work. It would be helpful, however, if you could take screen shots and then compare them with the photos you took (by viewing the screenshots from your computer to see if the gradient is still there).

tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool didn't help. guess it's a harware problem
