Difference between RM1038 and RM1039

I have a new Nokia 735. I can only access 2G at this current time. After checking the extras under setting I've noticed I have an RM 1038 version. What's the difference between 1038 and a 1039 version? Any advice or input but be greatly appreciated.

According to the B&H Photo web site, the RM-1039 has the LTE bands for North America (2, 4, 5, 17) that AT&T and T-Mobile use as well as the 3G frequencies. I do know that the version that NewEgg has on it's site supports different LTE bands, but they don't really say if this is the RM-1038 or not.

from what I've gathered on international phones in general, there's an Americas version that covers North America and South America and then there's an international version that covers the rest of the world. So I would guess that RM1039 was the version meant for Mexico/South America and thus works with the US and RM1038 is the international version.

It's the International one and is missing the 1900 GSM band, that's why you're only getting 2G.

Thank you Fred. I'll have to contact Expansys USA to see if they can exchange for a 1039 version.
