How is my Lumia 928 mobile outer glass broken but the touch screen is working properly?

my lumia 928 mobile outer glass broken but touch screen working properly ??

Yesterday i drpped my phone so my lumia928 s gorrilla glass has broken but touch screen is working then i searches in ebay i get seprate glass not digitilizer plus glass ...so i want to know only glass can solve my problem???

As far as I know, changing the glass only could cause you troubles... Is better to take it to one Nokia store or MS store near you to check

Buy the glass,digitizer,frame together.
