How do I revert my Lumia 535 from Windows 10 to 8.1?

every time i downloaded the software the recovery tool tell me that
"There was a problem while downloading the software Package

Details:

Invalid Crc32 for File RM1090_02063.00000.15114.43005_RETAIL_prod_signed_1029_02089E_000-PK.ffu. "

YES, latest build installed, yesterday - after reverting back to WinPhone 8.1 (after Hard Reset of WinMobile 10).

Had the Crc 32 error also, thus the Hard Reset, then plug in to WPRT.

I installed the latest build and it is a lot stable compared to previous build but I had to revert back to 8.1 due to a few issues like I couldnt uninstall apps and battery saver keeps turning off.

Any idea how I can't get 8.1 update 2 back on my L535? I tried to do it by the insider app but it seems to bypass that update now.

- Let setup FINISH
- look @ your device - IT's FUBAR'd
- Hard Reset
- look @ your device - IT's working FINE

I was talking about getting 8.1 update 2 back on my phone and not Windows 10 recent build. That link is all to do with Windows 10 and not 8.1

It does not seem so it is, MS "plugged this loophole".

"Some of you previously had to go through 2 "hops" to get to the latest build on your phone. We've made this better and you will be able to upgrade directly to the latest build in a single hop regardless of which Windows Phone 8.1 build you're starting from."

You'll need a microSD card and registry editor (all tools required in the link), the process is pretty simple actually

hmmmmm ... IF you hard reset, you wouldn't have had the (red) problem. That was my response.

... and you asked (red) above. Think you meant ' ... CAN get ...', but what do I know, I simply read your post.

When I first installed the preview I did do a hard reset straight away to fix the little problems but still didn't fix them, but i'll reinstall the preview again and try this again cause I do like this build more than the last.
