Was that a Lumia 1520 in Terminator Genisys?

I'm pretty sure that the Lumia 1520 made a few cameos in Terminator 5.

Did anyone else notice?

- Investigator in the hospital pulls out a yellow Lumia 1520.
- Hospital security camera control room dude uses a white Lumia 1520.

I might be wrong, but at the time, I was fairly certain about these devices being 1520's.

Also, side note: I see the forum is full of fresh problem / trouble / negative posts regarding the 1520. There's never enough positive content. I'd just like to update that I'm now a couple months into 1520 ownership and I absolutely love my 1520. What an awesome device! :excited: It's a tragedy that the 1520 never came to Canada. I'm glad that I decided to get one.

I've seen lots of Nokia Lumia 920's in movies but never a 1520. If you find a screenshot somewhere I'd love to see it.
By the way, yes, the 1520 is a great device. But of course the bad is all you ever here. That's just life.

Maybe long enough to at least see what the new flagship will bring. I'd wait for it and a few weeks afterwards as well to decide.

i've had my 1520 for coming on 12 months.

no problems at all. not sure why people have so many problems. do they treat them badly and they are acting up?

I know the rational side of me will win out and I'll wait for the new flagships. Really wanting a large screen phone. My 930 works great but I am a bit of a phone junkie.

Multiple 1520's spotted in the new Terminator: Genesys film.

Yup, I counted 3 or so 1520's in the movie, during the part set in 2017, and in fact the 1520's likely were sporting the Genesys application. The first one was the police detective with a yellow 1520, and then some other police worker with a black one. And the security guard was using a white 1520. Microsoft must pay big bucks to get their phones in these movies.

FWIW when you compose a new thread it autosuggests similar titles to help keep post duplication form occuring and steer users toward already existing info to streamline the conversation.

I'd absolutely love a 1520 as well. Sadly, around upgrade time it was completely sold out and I couldn't get a hold of one so I bought an 830 instead. I love my 830 but I am such a fan of large screen phones. Please Microsoft, don't screw up the 940 XL, hahaha.

Just saw the movie and saw those too. I don't know what the 940 XL is going to look like but the 1520 design is so unique...can be spotted a mile off. Love this thing!
