Wireless Charging Issue
My wife and I have identical phones: the HTC Windows Phone 8X. One of the five pins in the miniUSB port of MY phone got bent and eventually snapped off. Now I can no longer connect my phone to anything to transfer data and more importantly, I cannot charge is with the USB cable. We do have a wireless charger (Nokia), but here's the problem:
We place my wife's phone on the charging plate and it charges great. The charging indicator light on the plate comes on and the battery app shows "Charging".
However, when we place MY phone on the charging plate, there is no indicator light on the plate OR the phone. With only 6% battery remaining on my phone, there is little room to try anything else.
Why is her phone charging on it but not mine? Is there a special Setting that makes the wireless charging possible? I was pretty thorough on making sure both phones' settings [NFC, Bluetooth, etc.} were the same. Is there any hope?
