Is there any way to tell if you're getting a 950 from an old or new batch?

Hi Guys,

So the price in The Netherlands has dropped below ?500 for the 950 which is the limit I set myself to buy it.

With all the Microsoft "certified" shops still selling it for ?560 I'm assuming this shop is getting the phone from another country.

I would like to know if I can verify that the phone is not coming from an old batch (that reportedly has had some issues).
Is there any way I can check the phone in the store before purchasing?

You never know if you going to get good or bad battery, batch won't protect from that.
