App re-download when its not free.

hi there,
I'd downloaded some apps when they were free through myappfree. now I've some issues with storage and what will happen if i uninstall and redownload them later. some of those apps are no longer free. will i have to pay for them?

No. Go to Windowsphone.com and you can get your apps back from your purchase history. That way, you don't have to spend a dime.

It doesn't matter once you installed an app when they were temporarily free you can still download it for free

I disagree.....i got 9 free Xbox games as a gift deal on my 1520. Had to do a reset and now the games are saying "no longer available" and that's modern combat, lets golf2, etc.... It's risky. Even my damn back up didn't work

See your purchase list, check the region too.

On the purchase list it says it's no longer available. Basically I can't redownload any game that was in Gameloft promotion.

Same here. Really upset by that. Microsoft rep I spike to was no help. Told to contact Nokia as it was their promotion deal. Nokia then told me to go to Microsoft as its their app store....bloody useless

Tap buy and the app and wallet will show you a notification that the app has been already purchased and can be downloaded for free.

I downloaded myTube when it was free for a few days. I did a hard re-set of my phone. When I check back at the store via my phone, it doesn't say buy or try. The install button is directly available. So I guess it should be the same for all such apps.
