How do I restore my windows 10 profile? I am being sign on with a temporary profile.

I up grade to window 10 from 7 about six weeks ago. 2 day ago I lost all my files and I am now being logged on with a temporary profile. This also says that my files and sett will not be available. I found all my files. How do I restore my profile. All my software is behaving as if I just installed them. How do I fix this/
