Serious issue with my lumia 1520..........???

recently i updated my lumia 1520 8.1 version to anniversary update.......presently i am using anniversery update......and i had installed facebook(lite) and messenger beta........I faced lots of problems with those two apps.........when i installed those apps......i used to get facebook pop sounds when i refresh......but now i am not able to get the pop sounds.......and in messenger also.......the emoji sounds are not at all working(this situation happened 3days back).........finally i mean to ask u that.......is there any fault in my mobile or else in app?? and in case there is a fault in my app ......how can i fix it?

the first app Fcebook (lite) isnt a official product from Facebook , i would suggest you to download the official app i.e. Facebook

secondly you are again using a beta version of the app which is available as a full version too. i.e Messenger.

using unofficial apps or apps in beta will always present you with some glitches or bugs, uninstall them now and download th eofficial apps

in any case, the official apps also have issues for a small number of users
