Reactivating Icon on Verizon use old SIM card?

I am almost ready to reactivate my Icon. I had it on Verizon and all I had to do when given the iphone7 was turn it off and turn on the iPhone.

Basically, I know I will have to log in to my account on Verizon and switch the phones around.

Can I use the same SIM card that is currently in the Icon, or am I going to have to go to the Verizon store to get a new one and have them activate it?

You should be able to do that without any issues.

You shouldn't even have to do that. Your Verizon SIM card will automatically provision the phone. All you have to do it put it in and boot the phone. Done. After you boot the phone and it has established the connection, log into your Verizon account. It will probably already show your new phone on the line.

I switch phones all the time, and mostly factory unlocked phones. I've never had to do anything with Verizon, other than when I originally got the line.
