Mine's arrived yesterday (12/27) got it all set up. Took forever to copy all the playlist I wanted over, but I guess thats because of the write speed to copy to the sd card I have installed. But to answer your question you can use it as just a media player. I didn't even open the sim card that came with it. I was able to install all the (compatible) apps to the phone. This is very light, but I like the design and the cover it has. Definetly worth the price (free). I love my bing rewards. :winktongue: Decided to finally crack open the windows phone dekstop app and test the syncing against Windows media player. The fact that it adds the podcast folder as a library makes it worth it.
