Windows 8.1 not recognizing WP8 device

Ever since I installed Windows 8.1 I have not been able to get the computer to recognize my WP8 device. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I realize that it's a beta... This is happening on two Windows 8.1 devices. I have another Windows 8.0 device that I'll try it on but I know it's 8.1. I'll ask at the MS forums then, thanks.
