Contact pictures gone

This morning after the PC started up, I could watch all my contact pictures go, both in the people app, and in Outlook (Office 365). In the people app, all pictures that are stored in my Microsoft accounts (I have two linked to my Windows 10 14393.222 ) are gone, only the ones from Skype are kept.
I checked online at outlook.live.com - and they are gone there as well. So, it's a server based problem, not the Windows client.
Does anybody have the same issue?

Looking at the complete silence from Microsoft, it seems they are very comfortable with loosing client's data.

Somewhere I imagine the update went awry... someone must have forgotten a "mundane detail" :grincry:. As it is pretty wide spread - on my side all my outlook accounts have zero contact images.

I doubt that, any client data loss is a serious matter especially if you are global company like Microsoft.

The complete silence from MS does not exactly indicate that they care about it. An adequate reaction looks different.
