Linking Apps with contacts

I'm trying to set up a contact's live tile to display a message icon when I get a message from a third party app (Skype or the equivalent). When I edit the contact to add the Skype account, it doesn't seem to display the message icon. Is this a bug or is it not supposed to show a message has been received on the contact's live tile?

All I've ever been able to get the individual contact icon to show is calls, texts, and emails.

I can't even add Skype to it, only Facebook.

Nevermind, it took a minute to show up but its now attached. Still no live tile contact action though.

Sadly Skype conversations aren't treated the same way as the others. I can understand that WhatsApp or Sicher are seperated, but MSFT's own messaging service ...
