Down grading

I am so disappointed on hearing that those who use 8.1 preview for developers have to downgrade to windows 8.0 in order to receive the cyan firmware, but microsoft has never mentioned this issue before, they just said about warranty will be voided, this is not fair microsoft my handset is Lumia 520 India, plz help me!

It's been mentioned a lot recently on here.

And then there's all the forum posts regarding the subject since the issue became known - 10 days so far.

And here's the reason why: BitLocker and Lumia Cyan causing issues for Windows Phones running Preview for Developers | Windows Phone Central

Doesn't matter if you use Bitlocker or not - the Cyan update was blocked for all users running 8.1 Preview until a fix can be found.
