Problem with software updater pls help!!

I have lumia 925 and want to downgrade 8.1 developer preview to 8.0 but nokia software updater and recovery tools writes that "downloading information for the selected phone from the server failed. this may be caused by a server issue or or your phone may not be supported" what me to do?? pls somebody help me

does it give you the option to recover your phone after it failed? if so, just click recover and then unplug your phone, press the volume down and the power key at the same time,your phone should restart,then just plug in the usb again, it should put your phone back to 8.0.

no, it doesn't. there are only my mobile information nothing else it should be my mobile icon and even it isn't there

trying opening the app with administrating mode, by right hand click and run as administrator. maybe that will help.
