Wp8/Lumia cyan question

I've noticed arrows above the Data or WIFI activity icons is that part on the cyan firmware or the WP8.1 update i'm currently on the developer preview but my backup 520 has those arrows

I've noticed arrows above the Data or WIFI activity icons is that part on the cyan firmware or the WP8.1 update i'm currently on the developer preview but my backup 520 has those arrows

I only noticed that when I installed Cyan. Never saw those when I was on DP.
